DUSK

                                     DUSK

The murky presence crystallized for a moment to rupture into amnesia before Amishi could have locked them in a cell called memory.
The eyes still carried the vestiges of the memories but the mind bamboozled to recollect it.
Unknown to her, pleasant grey sky diluted to black unhurriedly into Friday night. A few steps more would take her to tranquil siesta. She always perpetuated her stay on this bridge. Her mind was off the wits seemingly lurching under the power of inebriation. Heart was tyrannized by mind.It was like a mistress only permitted to see and hear only what was legitimatized.
This twilight was so mockingly ironic. It professed oneness with the dawn but both were distinct and would never merge.
As the yearning and whys abated in the chilling dead of night , remains in the subconscious played hookey with reasons defying to be caught by it.
She watched the amalgam of tones of black merging into the shades of greyish dawn forcing wakefulness.
She ushered into hope to see the light.
