Brainy Ravana
BRAINY RAVANA – Reflection of each one of us.
October 11, Dusshera……Effigies of Ravana are all set to be burned. But , I somewhere dislike this ongoing idea.Ravana looks so elegant. Today as I passed through Tagore Garden Ravana seemed so narcissistic and majestic . I felt that he was observing the traffic, the passerby’s and people who were coming to buy the effigies!
Suddenly I heard Ravana talking to me ….
He asked, “Don’t you people forgive yourself and carry on with life?
Are you all unblemished? Each one of you is a reflection of me .Now burn me and enjoy the fumes fade away in the air.”
He laughed out aloud and words of Shakespeare reverberated in my ears
